Pelvic health
The First-Line Treatment for Better Bladder and Bowel Control is Physical Therapy.
At Dynamic Physical Therapy, we successfully treat patients with pelvic floor disorders by using a team-based, comprehensive approach. Our therapists have completed extensive courses in pelvic floor health and can successfully address our patients’ concerns in any stage of life.
Bladder control is a common symptoms among both women and men, but is not often discussed. Urinary incontinence can occur for a number of reasons, including pelvic floor weakness, muscle imbalance, & constipation. These are all things that will be discussed and managed with your physical therapist in order to reduce your symptoms.
Our therapists are very passionate about rehabilitation of the pelvic floor during both pregnancy & post-partum. The body goes through a lot of changes during pregnancy, such as postural alterations, increased pelvic floor strain, and ligament thickening & stretching. These changes could lead to pelvic floor problems, core weakness, and back pain. Prenatal and postnatal care can help your body better prepare for the trip ahead, even if these are some of the more uncomfortable aspects of pregnancy.
We can provide therapeutic treatment for the following:
- Public symphysis pain
